About the event
The American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post 13 is opening its doors to the Tallahassee community on Saturday, April 26, for its first annual Family Day Open House, a celebration of service, camaraderie, and family fun. This event is an opportunity for the community to connect with Post members, learn about its mission, and enjoy a day of family fun activities highlighting the importance of community support for veterans and their families.
Open to all, this free, family-focused event marks the post’s 106th anniversary and offers the public a rare opportunity to connect with local veterans while learning about The American Legion’s enduring mission, including its focus on veteran suicide prevention through the Be the One campaign. Attendees can expect a variety of family-friendly entertainment, free food, games, and activities. Family Day promises a welcoming atmosphere for all ages, from interactive displays to informal conversations with veterans.
