Flag In The Field

Between the fields where the flag is planted, there are 9+ miles of flower fields that go all the way to the ocean. The flowers are grown by seed companies. It's a beautiful place, close to Vandenberg AFB. Check out the dimensions of the flag.
- The Floral Flag is 740 feet long and 390 feet wide and maintains the proper Flag dimensions, as described in Executive Order #10834.
- This Flag is 6.65 acres and is the first Floral Flag to be planted with 5 pointed Stars, comprised of White Larkspur
- Each Star is 24 feet in diameter
- Each Stripe is 30 feet wide
This Flag is estimated to contain more than 400,000 Larkspur plants, with 4-5 flower stems each, for a total of more than 2 million flowers.
Folding The U.S. Flag
- Bring the striped half up over the blue field.
- Then fold it in half again.
- Bring the lower striped corner to the upper edge forming a triangle.
- Then fold the upper point in to form another triangle. Continue until the entire length of the flag is folded.
- When you get near the end - nothing but the blue field showing - tuck the last bit into the other folds to secure it.

ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT
In WWII, there was an advisor to Prime Minister Churchill who organized a group of people who
dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively
pray for the safety of England , its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped.
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like
to participate here are the times each evening:
- 9:00 PM Eastern
- 8:00 PM Central
- 7:00 PM Mountain
- 6:00 PM Pacific)
Stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States,
our troops, our citizens and for peace in the world.
If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along. Someone said if
people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we
might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.
